Portraits of North Texas Artists

 An ongoing project since 2001, this series documents North Texas visual and performing artists who have inspired my work and have a strong impact on my life.

By spending time with these artists in their studios and preferred spaces, I gain a strong connection to them and to their creative process.

Selections from this body of work were exhibited in fall 2005 at an artist gallery, ArtSpace111 in Fort Worth, Texas. While I have chosen to present only single images of artists for this Web selection, in exhibition several of these portraits are presented as diptychs and triptychs.

I intend to continue this work indefinitely, developing an open-ended document of the art community where I live.
